Bridgend Martial Arts Academy - Teaching the Traditional Korean Art of Tang Soo Do
Bridgend Tang Soo Do Tigers Programme

The Tiger-tots is a unique programme that was developed by Master John Trudgill (who has over 18 years teaching experience) who holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Coaching Science, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education as well as a Diploma in Development and Coaching. Master Trudgill also teaches on the Higher National Diploma coaching science program in the University of Wales and specialise in growth and development.

The aim is to teach a fun filled martial arts programme, for all children aged 4-6yrs which sometimes extends to 7yrs as well. The syllabus encourages the physical growth and development of the younger student in a safe and friendly learning environment. The programme develops listening skills, balance, self control, concentration, respect for others and a positive attitude while learning the basic techniques of Tang Soo Do in a fun environment.

The Tigers program is delivered within the Bridgend Martial Arts Academy by Master Sian Hesketh (5th Dan Regional Instructor) with assistance from two Junior Leaders, James Davies & Peter Todorov. The classes follow the programme designed by Master Trudgill and are action packed and great fun, the perfect way to introduce young children into the martial arts.
