2011 World Tang Soo Do Championships, Cardiff
Master John Trudgill and the TTFUK held the first World Tang Soo Do Championships in Cardiff, Wales since the ITF held the 1998 World Championships.......and as expected, the event was fabulously planned, organised and held on the 7th May in the NIAC grounds in the Cyncoed University of Wales, Cardiff.
The Championships was opened by the Mayor of Cardiff followed by presentations to the Grandmaster's present and the leaders of the many Organisations and Federations present on the day. The tournament itself had a UK record of 1068 competitors from around the World....outstanding!
Bridgend Martial Arts Academy were represented at these World Championships by 16 students, and their efforts on the day were outstanding, whether they won or lost their personal attitude and team work ensured the club could be extremely proud by their efforts and outstanding Tang Soo Do discipline. Well done and thank you all for supporting this outstanding event, the club and yourselves....Tang Soo!!
